Revolights Launches its Second Kickstarter Project (by HypebeastTV)
John Watson has made a career out of exploring. His bike culture blog, Prolly is Not Probably, is easily one of the most in-depth examinations of worldwide city culture, framed in a perspective from behind two wheels. It’s one thing to have necessary items, but when constantly on the move, one must be especially discerning when deciding what to carry. Watson is currently traveling the Chinese countryside on a journey to Shanghai, having already made an extended stop in Suzhou, and joined by San Francisco-based bag company Mission Workshop. Here we document what Watson needs to keep the wheels turning in this edition of Hypebeast Essentials.
For updates on the trip, follow Watson and his crew on Prolly is Not Probably, as well as the Mission Workshop blog.

BIKE LIKE A NEW YORKER
In order to stay ahead of the debate on the upcoming bike share program, BikeNYC, in partnership with Transportation Alternatives, has launched a campaign calling attention to cyclists in the city. Print ads and billboards will be posted throughout publications and city streets supporting the growing bike movement. The ads will also encourage people to visit BikeNYC.org which hopes to become an important destination for the city’s bikers, providing information on events and hundreds of options for social biking. Before long we’ll reclaim the streets, two wheels at a time.
